Officially, today is my last day of work. I said goodbye to the staff room and the HOD room softly. No doubt this line of profession or rather, work, is rather tiring at times; but if you were to think about it, it is not at bad as seems.
So okay, I racked up a total of 16 days of work. You can do the math. It is kind of sad that all 'good' stuff must come to an end. Honestly speaking, I am not in the mood to crack my head to think of the right word to express my feelings. Nevertheless, it is sad, happy and tired, all rolled together. (___________) Hahahaha... =)

Staff Pass!!!! Finally! =0
Hurray!! This is the first time that I got to possess the staff pass. I even took a picture of it=0
The only reason why I had the card was that I had a class in AVA2. Chen Loong also had a class at AVA1. Hees.. Both of us refused to return the staff passes until just before we signed out as the pass was extremely useful (for going to toilet and returning to the staff room right after class).
I have just booked a white Omnia 16GB and according to the extremely extremely helpful staffs from Singtel, the tech guys will call me within the next 2 to 3 working days to confirm the date of delivery and payment. =) Oooooooo.. I can't wait for my new phone!!! Guess whaT?? I will only have to pay $198 for it since my Nokia n82 will be traded-in (for $300). I will definitely miss it too!!

Life is as per normal today, more or less. The shoe is getting more and more seasoned so it almost did not hurt at all. I will not be working tomorrow so it will be my first holiday!!! However, I will resume work on monday and tuesday. Tuesday will be my last day. Later I will be going out to outram mrt (somwhere down there - since my cousin is working at the health promotion board) and then treat my aunt, mum, grandma, uncle and cousin since I have gotten my pay, well, half of it only though.
Hais...I really wish someone would buy me a Samsung Omnia, even if it were to a 8GB model. =)

Time flies!
Officially, I have worked for 13 days. I have 3 or 4 days left to go before I retire. HAha! Stop working sounds more like it.
My new shoe that was bought on last saturday really was killing me yesterday but I think the shoe has expanded finally, but it still hurts a little. Today's work was okay for me, not as bad as I expected. I guess the only special thing that ever happened today was that I had to bring (walk) 4 Unity to their Mission thingy venue, it seems that all students were required to go for it. It started off as a slight drizzle and then it rained cats and dogs. Just my luck! So there I was soaking wet in the chapel-like place where the Mission thingy was to take place. Thankfully, Mr Lawrence was there to give us a lift back. It was the first time that I sat in a Volkswagon Golf but not the GTI version.
The car felt heavy and the acceleration was a little slow but much faster than a Nissan Sunny. =)

Who am I?
Who am I? Thats the question so many people ask themselves and today I woke up at 1 in the afternoon thinking about that question too.
I am not the son of a millionaire, let alone a billionaire. I am not even working (actually working). I don't have a title. I don't have world recognition (in the good sense). By the world definitions, I am nothing.
However, by God's defintion, my name is Matthew, I came into this world on 17 May 1990 and I am now studying in TP. Every single good results that I have achieved in the past, in the present and in the future are all attributed to God. Who I am to be in the future I do not know but I do know what I have to do now.

Ohhh.... Lovely song indeed! This is the theme song for condo heroes and it is called Tian Xia Wu Shuang by Jane Zhang Jing Ying. Her voice is so pure and rich.
Work for me again today. Nevertheless, today was slightly different, I noticed something.In every class, there will be one or a couple of bad characters. Chances are, is that the girls in the class will be attracted to them because they think that those people are so cool. Now here comes the problem. The other boys in the class will follow the bad character just so that they can get the attention of the girls.
Whenever the fake bad boys are in the presence of the real bad boys, you can immediately differentiate them through their behaviour. They will become subdued and will laugh nervously at when the real bad boys laugh and all the time looking unsure about their behaviour. When I look at them, I nearly laughed my head off!!! =)

Ohh hurray! It has been confirmed, I will be working up till this friday!
Today's class was better than yesterday's classes, which in turn was better than last friday's classes. They were more well-behaved and obedient. Not really in the mood to blog today, so I will keep this entry as short as possible. What I really want to do is to do some research and to watch movies!!

Life can be so frustrating!!!
It can sometimes be very frustrating being a relief teacher. The students just simply refuse to obey your orders. I am trying to be kind and approachable as a teacher, by doing so, I will appear tame and very cool-headed. Should I unleash myself? I may. The last time that i handled a class was by shouting at them.

However, if I were to look at this situation from Jesus' view, in that I am the students and Jesus is the teacher. How would Jesus react? He would most probably react in a tender and loving way and even perhaps say,"My son, My son, why must you disappoint Me?".
But of course, I would definitely not say what Jesus might have said. Nevertheless, I would try to mimic his actions.
Well thats enough for my work talk! Time for me to relax!!! I love this video!

My Rest day=) 13/9
Hahaa!!
Today is the saturday of my second week of my holidays. I am very happy with the results that I have gotten so far, if not extrememly surprised at the results. My gpa increased to 3.87!!!
This is by far the second greatest miracle in my entire life. In case you are wondering, my greatest miracle was my 'O' Level results.
However to think about it, I find it pretty unfair that to say thus. This being that God has been extremely gracious and very merciful towards me despite all my flaws. So yes, it is a dawn of a new day, even though I had woke up at 12 pm=)

3rd Day of work of the sem 2.1 hols...
Hmmm...
Ah what can I say but it can and had only be by the grace of God that I got such wonderful marks. No doubt that my results are definitely worse than the previous semester, it was definitely better than what I had expected to get. So by the grace of God, this is what I got for this semester.
ET: Z ; UO1: B+ ; OSH: A ; EM2: Z ; IBM: A ; Public Speaking: A

So yup, as I was saying, today is my third day of work. I am sort of getting used to the rythm of this nature of the work all over again, which is good news, I guess. I met this old boy of HIHS, Chen Loong, I believe.
Before I proceed any further, I am working as a relief teacher at HIHS (Holy Innocent High School). The students are sometimes difficult to handle but on other occasions, getting pass that 1 hour of lesson seems like a breeze.
Hurray, yesterday was the first time that I was allowed to use the Biology lab as the classroom and today was the Humanity Room. Oh geez, I wonder what will be next!
Tomorrow I would not be blogging at all since I will be going to my class chalet.
Again a song to brighten up my life.

ahhh... At long last..is it not??
Life is short. Life is tiring. Life moves on whether you like it or not.
Thus i decided to go with the flow of time, let it guide but yet not allowing it to control me.
Well, I have just completed my semestral exams 2.1 in Temasek Poly. I must say that this is the first time that I feel very frightened of my results. I honestly hope and pray that some how or other I will do well. But one thing is for certain, if I do attain good results, it is by the grace and mercy of God. Life moves on.
I just cant explain this sadness in my heart and what is causing it. I feel very down at times, sometimes i feel so hapless, so weak. But I have to be strong by the grace and mercy of God.
Now, really moving on, I have been offered to work in HIHS (Holy Innocent High School) again for 2 weeks and I am rally glad to have someting to do and to take my mind off some stuff.
Ohh..By the way, I had school today, this Service DNA thingy. A little crappy at first but I sort of got used to it. However I do feel sad that I had made fun of Indians without me realising it. I am never racist, I have got an Indian friend and I love to watch Indian action movies. =) ....a little confession there...
Lets start from the beginning, Ms Chung (lecturer) asked us to pick a category to call, so naturally, I went for the hair salons. Our task: Call any hair salon and see how their service are and then rate them accordingly. Immediately my mind flashed back to The Married Men show on 91.3FM where one of the DJs called a salon which specialised in hair removal. So I imitated the DJ (fake Indian) accent. That was a huge mistake on my part. Too tactless.
So lets lighten up the atmosphere a little with my favourite movie: Wall E.
