I am back from KL again:)

I promised myself not to spend much on this last trip for this holiday and I succeeded more or less in doing so. This time round Mum bought me clothes instead. Hahaaa^^ Well if she insists then I wouldnt mind having my shopping being paid for. Haha:) So under her account, I bought 2 shirts (one of them is a long sleeve shirt - the type that I saw at Pull & Bear and the other is a jacket and shirt sewn together - very good for cold days hahaaa) and I got a levi jeans and pencil case (the pencil case was bundled together with 2 pairs of socks haha.. mum saw it while I was trying to squeeze into the jeans in the changing room^^). But really, if you to ask me what the pencil case was made with, I will tell you very honestly that it was just some leftover jean material that the levi engineers decided to sew together to make a pencil case! Alright let me show you what I mean.. :)

So okay this is the first time I reach back singapore with some RM in my pocket but I shant disclose how much exactly unless you beg me! HAhaaaaa^^ Alright, I am uttering nonsense again. :(
I did go to gym and then exercise in the pool right after, hoping to get a suntan but the sun refused to come out and make me chao tar! So anyway, I went about my usual stuff, doing what I do best when I have cash in my pocket, shopping! I mean the only time that I really let loose my purse strings (or is there another way to say it?^^) is when I am overseas as I know that whatever amount of money that I change, I can spend freely as it would be sometime before I come back again. Hmmm.. Excuses to spend money I guess. hahahaaaa^^

Sunday was the most tiring day of all the days I was there. I went to shop around, passed by Starbucks and for the first time didnt feel tempted to indulge in an ice mocha blended or whatever they like to call it. :) I had to force my lunch down my throat as everything tasted disgusting and even the fruit-protein concoction from Juice Labs was distasteful. After that mama, mum and I sent off my cousin and aunt who had joined us on saturday and sunday (my cousin came to attend the seminar and her mum tagged along to shop) to the pickup point which was at Avenue K (owned by K Residence - Avenue K is like its private mini-mall) and saw them board the 3pm Odyssey bus. Then I went back to the apartment and was knocked out until 6.30pm. I was really exhausted and I woke up feeling slightly better, and then had dinner at subway. But this time, I did not have to force it down my throat. :) Phew!
I must admit that I am pretty disorganised today. My narration of the 5 days of holiday is a total disaster! Haha.
Alright let me try again.^^ I had talked about me being in Little Taiwan and eating the mango snowy ice thing which was on day 2. Day 3 (saturday) was the second and last day at the DHT seminar. It was funny, enriching and fulfilling but I slept again. Crap! hahaaa^^ We paid RM50 for lunch and entrance fee and stuff. So the lunch was dry mee siam which was quite good but I was still hungry so I went down for macs to have.. Yup you got it, Big Mac (!) but with Cornetto McFlurry (something that they dont have in singapore but its just vanilla ice-cream with broken bits of ice-cream cone and chocolate fudge). The McFlurry was superb. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmyyyyyy!! Hahaaa.
Day 4, sunday, was the day I did gym and water aerobics plus felt sleepy (as mentioned earlier). =)
Day 5, monday, was coming home day! I am tired of KL and staying there is frightfully becoming a routine. It is frightening at how fast I adapt and blend in to the surrounding atmosphere. Saying hi and stuff to the concierge and security guards as though I owned one of the apartments and had known them for eons!
Thankfully I am now at home. I need to get accustomed to staying in spore again. You know what I did when I first reach my house lift? I was about to reach into my backpocket to retrieve the access card before realising that I was no longer in K Residence! Well, the lifts in K Residence dont work unless you have an access card. No card = No Entry.
Alright give me 2 days. I will be back in singapore mood. Meanwhile, I have to stay clear of shopping malls -- If you know what I mean. :)

DJ time! Wehooo..Man I missed doing this.
I heard this song playing yesterday night on 91.3 FM, my fav radio station! It was beautiful and with an equally beautiful video from Final Fantasy. Bravia! I wanted to watch the FF movie but as I did not play the games, I knew I would be wasting my time in the cinema watching all the perfect animations but not knowing who is who and what is the plot about! Ok, cut to the chase. :) I now present to you FF 8!

Im in KL,in Little Taiwan again!^^

Ok I had to eat at Little Taiwan again to use their wireless network again. But their food is quite good. I love their mango snowy ice. It taste like ice-cream and real mango at the same time but if you were to actually look carefully, the desert is actually just ice, lots and lots of super fine ice.^^ Yummy!
I went to the seminar today. It was good but I was a little sleepy so I ding dong bell throughout one of the breaks and mum had to wake me up. Hahaha!! So while I was there, during one of the many breaks (we had 10 mins break after every 45 minutes of 'preaching'), I browsed through my mp3 and found this song that inspires me from time to time. It is uplifting at times when I feel lonely or bored or just have nothing to do.^^ This is it. Look to you by Hillsong United.

Look to You by Hillsong United

Enjoy this video! While I am enjoying my mango snowy ice. ^^

Tadaaaaa!!

Oh and about the seminar again, before I left the apartment today, I felt that it would be a waste of time. But after the first day of seminar, I think it was worth my while. HAhaaaa..not that time equals to money for me now.^^ I dare say that it was spiritually uplifting, there were uncertainties regarding the bible stuff but he (Curry Blake) ironed out almost all my uncertainties, which me a little light-hearted now. HAhaa, I miss Singapore. :)
One more thing...A little secret... This is the first time in my life, I am restricting my spending!! Up to now, I have only spent money on mixed fruit juices, special juice concoctions from Juice Labs and 1 pair of working socks.

Cheers,
Matthew

Going KL again tomorrow :) :(

hahaa.. Did you notice my title? If you did notice both the smiley and sad face, well done!! If not, play closer attention next time! Hahaaaa
I am happy that I am going to KL as today, I woke up feeling so exhausted, as though all my strength had been drained out of me! It was scary but I knew that I had to work and not to just work but to do my work well. I asked God for help and mercy to give me strength for the days work. And He did. Listening to Lady Gaga songs did help too.^^
By the time it was 2 pm, I was peng san liao. So my father picked me up from HIHS and then instead of driving me home, asked if he could drive to Koufu main kitchen at woodlands. So I said anything as mum wanted to get some health supplements later on, from B2 PS - Healthystars is the shop's name if I am not wrong. And then I slept like a pig, one moment I woke up, I was in Woodlands and the next moment I woke up I was in Pasir Ris! After that 1 hour rest, Matthew respawned. HAhaaaa..Kidding! I was alive again, felt strong again, felt me!
SO alright, now, why am I sad? I am going to miss work for 3 days! And I wont be able to blog everyday too. :(
anyway, lets talk about my outing yesterday! It wasnt as fun as I hope it to be because all of us were tired and it didnt really help that Jason girlfriend was there. I dont like her. Period. But for Jason sake I will try to accomodate her. Jason is really okay guy to talk too, a little proud when talking about certain things. I am a tiny bit like him there. Talk to me about cars, technology and I would rattle off a lot of stuff, in a slightly arrogrant manner...I think..^^ See my comparison of omnia with other phones to have a vague idea. But I am trying to rid myself of pride and leave behind this shiny titanium shield of self confidence for me to 'carry' around. ^^ haha
Ok lets digress again. Omnia vs Nokia 5800. Omnia - flawless design, WM 6.1 OS, 5 MP camera which is extremely easy to activate and it looks good when it is on your hand. 5800 - disgusting design I must say (who on earth designed that phone - some external designer??), 3.15 MP camera which refuse to activate until my friend helped me to activate (I better brush up my tech know-how skills!) haha and it looks like a fashion disaster. Period. ^^
Other than that it was totally enjoyable, walking aimlessly from one shopping mall to another and for once, not having to decide to where to go and leaving the decision making into the hands of jason. Oh as I had work yesterday, I could only meet then at about 3pm and they took equally long to reach there too as they had lunch at Cafe Cartel, TM. Hahaa..I keep telling myself to get the membership card but up to now, I still have not got down to do it. So umm...where was I?^^ Yup enjoyed myself thoroughly and they did too. We decided to go out again on the 6th March but I hope it will be a much smaller group minus you-know-who. HAhahaaaaaaa^^
I shall not delve into the minute details this time round as it will get messy and I cant really where we went to exactly. It was like touring orchard road whilst enjoying ourselves. Oh and we had Macs for dinner. Big Mac for me again. Beef. Yummy! But I would puke if I eat more than 500g (tried that during CNY - I had to walk aroung the garden for a long time and doing Para Para on my cousin's Wii didnt help either - thankfully I didnt puke!). But I did poop poop a lot the next day. Okay enough of talking about the not-so-nice-stuffs.
My KL plans. I am leaving at 8am tomorrow (I thought it was 8.30!!), well at least the bus is leaving Habourfront at 8am. That would mean that I would have to sleep like now and wake up like 5.30? Oh craaapp!! ^^ Haiya so sian. I shall charge my phone on the bus tomorrow after I have passed through the customs. Hmmm..It will be nice travelling on a bus and then a steward/stewardess (its still called steward right? or is that name reserved for people serving customers on airlines? aiya waiter also can^^ hahahaaaa), will come up and say "Sir, would you like to have a blanket/water/lunch?" at the usual time intervals. And then watch whatever movie they will want to let us watch. Typical. Wa!! So early still 9.30 only!! But I had better sleep soon and better bring Salonplus. Hold a sec. Ok done, Salonplus is in my luggage bag already. Hmm..I will be arriving back in singapore at about 8pm on monday. We start off from KL, Corus Hotel at 3pm and the bus ride takes about 5 hours or maybe less. You should see how insanely fast how those bus drivers drive! My father was driving at 120km/h and they overtook us very quickly. I would estimate their speed to be around 130 to 140km/h. Ohh..I pray that my drivers will be safe drivers. ^^ pls pls pls.. hahhaaaa

Alright. Let me be the DJ again.
This songs is old, its touching if you have watched Armageddon and pay careful attention to the lyrics. I am serious! I was singing the corus part in my girl voice (train my voice box^^) and mum gave me that oh-pls-stop-singing-the-glass-are-going-to-break stare.

Here was what I sang :
I don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
I'd still miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing

Hahaa..this part was when the father (bruce Willis) sacrificed his life to let his future son-in-law (Ben Affleck) survive and marry his daughter. --> if you have watched the whole movie, anyone will have felt that it was super touching too.

I Dont Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith

Enjoy this song! I will post one more. Its called T-Shirt. Yes its a little emo. Sad song I believe but I dunno, maybe sad songs help me feel happy? Hahaa..whatever..enjoy this song!!!!^^

Nothing feels better than being at home man!

When I was in KL, yes, I did enjoy myself but I never did feel at home in the condo even though it belongs to my uncle. It feels I dunno, seems like my vocab bank is not large enough to describe my feeling. But you will sort of know when you are at home where you are at ease. The things belong to you and you can do whatever you like to it. :) Something like that. haha
Oh so today I went to work at HIHS, it was tiring as usual but I am a survivor! hahaa.. It was pretty alright as there was a motivation. I am going out with my friends tomorrow!!^^ Yay! Time for me to relax tomorrow!^^
I was thinking a little about how I could sumarise life in a few words and I came to the conclusion that -- Life is simple. Its just how hard you perceive it to be and how hard your superiors want to make it. ^^
ALright, I am saying a lot of abtract stuff now. I cant make any sense of why I am saying it now but its ok I guess. :) perhaps I am in an extremely elated mood now.^^ I had better stop blogging now if not I will talk alot of "no-link" stuff as my mind is shutting down very soon.

I love the title of the song for the day. We all get better in time. Well, of course, unless you want to be a bad person. She is one of my favorite singers, her voice is extremely powerful and very contained, you will feel (or is it hear it?^^) when you listen to her singing Bleeding Love!
Better In Time - Leona Lewis with Lyrics (Official Music Video) HD

This is the lastest song that I have downloaded on my laptop.^^ Enjoy this!

HEy I am back in Singapore!!^^

Wow..time passes by pretty quickly when I am away from Singapore which is good. I enjoyed myself more or less, sweat it out at the gym and then put back on the calories again later in the day. While at the gym, I get to think about my future, how is it going to be like and what must I do in order to realise my dreams. I hate and fear most saying that I want to be this and do that but in the end, not being able to totally fulfill what I said I could do. So I am pretty careful with what I say about my plans for the future. Pretty is an understatement though. hahaaa^^
Anyway, I was supposed to talk about my trip only but got side-tracked again to talk about my future. :) Alright the photos.. As promised.^^ The first 2 picts are the inside of the house before the adding of furniture. The next 2 pictures are at the swimming pool area where I did my soaking and water boxing (my way of saying doing boxing in the water^^hahaa).
Ahhh...And finally the grand finale... My trusty sleeping bag^^ That gave me back aches in the morning! Thankfully I only had to sleep on it for a night! :)

The reason why I only had to sleep on my sleeping bed for a night was because I spent almost the entire day of my second day in KL, assembling 2 beds, 2 side cabinets, 1 sofa and 1 dinning table from pieces of wood from IKEA, with Dad. With the gym session in the morning and the assembling of furniture later on, I was super uber tired. Thankfully, my breakfast on lunch was Subway, so I wasnt really hungry. We started assembling at 2 plus and finshed at 7 plus too before I had my second bath for the day. Right after that, we went to KLCC to catch The International, which by then my back was aching. I surely did regret not bringing the Salonplus along! But I was too lazy to find Watsons to buy one packet. Hahaaa^^ The second night of sleep was much better but the cushion that we brought up was still too small to be a proper pillow. Alright some pictures to illustrate dad's and my artwork. HHahaaaaaa:) Ei but it was hardwork! My hand was all red after all the screwing and hammering for all the nuts and screws. I hate using the hex key, it hurts my hand like crazy!!! :( So anyway.. Tada!!^^

It was a memorable experience, I must say! :)
This are more pictures taken while at the pool. Hahaa..mama waiting for me to finish my 'swim' and seeing KLCC while I play in the water! How cool is that!^^

So to 'make up' for the lost of time in assembling the furniture, I went on a short shopping spree! I went a little crazy, one shop to another, FCUK, CK, DKNY, Timberland, Nautica, ZARA, AX, Philosophy, Parkson Grand and Isetan. In the end I managed to find a shirt from AX and Philosophy each and a jeans at Isetan. hahaa.. I still cant get over the name Philosophy. I went in because of the name, it sounds so abstract, random but yet so realistic. Philosophy. What is my philosophy? haha
Some picts of how KLCC looks like on the inside.. :)

This is the last photo I took on Omnia. The scenery from the balcony at night. Its nice when you are far from the jams and the rush of life. Not that I hate the rush of life, its just peaceful to move away for awhile before coming back stronger than before. haha

Cheers,
Matthew

Oh and my muscles aint hurting no more. Hahaa..a little American there. ^^

The second last day of the KL trip

I watched The International yesterday. It was good as I was able to understand the plot of the entire movie. The plus point of watching a movie in KL is that they tend to show the movies over here first before showing in Singapore. It is basically about the financial sector. If you understand more or less the finance system (due to my simplified BFA knowledge), you will sort of know the ending before the movie ends.
I really need to do some big business now as I am having my breakfast in the Little Taiwan now. I will post the picts of K Residence when I reach back in Singapore.^^ Till then.

Cheers,
Matthew

Yea! Finally managed to get wireless at Little Taiwan..

Oh hurray.. I managed to get wireless at Little Taiwan. I was so tempted to buy those prepaid wireless things but I found this cafe first after trying so hard to find some hotspot. hahaa.. anyway enjoy your read if you may.^^

Yesterday was a mixture of feelings all jumbled together, excitement, sadness and a little apprehension, so much so that I couldn’t exactly pinpoint my exact feeling in that moment in time. Oh and I was supposed to blog yesterday but I was unable to connect to the internet as the concierge said that they were still in the process of fixing up the wireless network. Hahaa..I think it will take them quite a fair bit of time to fix up all the seas of routers...unless they were to use the super advanced ones whereby only a handful of super-long range routers are needed. Later, if I feel like it, I will pop by the concierge to ask when the wireless will be up and running. Anyway, if you do see my blog published today (20/3/09), it means that I had purposely brought my laptop down to Subway to use their free wireless there as I am blogging on Microsoft Words first.
So where was I? Hahaaa..^^ Alright I will start from the time that I left Mama house. We set off to KL, more or less on time, I think. However along the way to the Causeway, there was a massive jam near Mandai area, which caused us to be stuck in the traffic for close to an hour. I was a little displeased by the jam until I saw the cause of the jam. The entire bonnet of a mini-bus was ripped off by the back of a huge lorry and somehow or other (mostly likely due to momentum) the minibus was crushed on the driver side, and the bus turned 180oC and ended up facing the traffic in a perfect parallel park to the lorry involved. I hope the bus driver is still alive! That accident set me thinking about how life can be like vapour – you know the cliché phrase. Well it wasn’t so cliché afterall.
Custom clearance was pretty fast and I am still getting used to the new Malaysia customs which looks so like the Singapore one (in terms of general layout) but with a little more design and stuff.^^ After which the journey was a little monotonous but I still couldn’t sleep, I was hungry!!:) We soon reached Ayer Keroh, the overhead stopover R&R, where we had our dinner at A&W. Oooohhh...I love the Connie Dog, Curly Fries and The A&W Float! I was so sad that they had closed down all the A&W outlets in Singapore and they also closed down the KLCC one too if I am not wrong (I will check it out later). But dinner was disappointing. The Connie Dog tasted more like plain sausage with lots of raw onions, the curly fries were cold but the A&W float never changed. ARgh!! So much fat food!^^ Guess what I did after eating? Shopping! There was only one sports shop there so I bought an adidas shirt plus socks and I won’t tell you how much I spent already! Haha
Right after the semi-fulfilling dinner and a visit to the toilet (and buying titbits), we were off again to KL and this time I was lulled to sleep by the monotony of the journey. Nonetheless, about 30 minutes later, I was awoken as the car had suddenly come to a standstill. I rubbed my eyes sleepily and was awake at the next instant when mum said that we were lost as were using the car’s onboard GPS system to find our way in, it seems that the GPS may have malfunctioned at that point in time and had lead us further away from our destination. Now I was fully awake. So we had to use human instincts with computer brains (GPS) to get to KL now. Mum and I helped Dad to keep watch for all the sign boards while Dad concentrated on driving alone. Mum watched for signboards while I helped to watch the GPS unit and compare with all the signboards and made sure that the female command voice was telling us the right stuff (when to turn and stuff).
After much effort (I think^^), we arrived at our destination, K Residence. Phew! The place is a lot nicer on the outside than the inside if you were to ask me. The place is decently high tech, like those 5 star hotels. Tap card here and there, and I am still holding the card! Hahaaa...yay!^^ Its kind of fun and the staff here keep on greeting you when they see you. I should stay in a condo when I start working. J But I will have to work very hard first, very hard. Ok, I am digressing again. Hahaaa
Ok so I had to sleep on the floor last night and it wasn’t fun. Despite sleeping at 3 am (due to all the cleaning up of the house first – so dirty man!^^), I was lying awake on my sleeping bag. I didn’t feel sleepy. It took me about 10 minutes to convince myself I am sleepy before I relaxed all my muscles to go into sleep mode. Haha..I sound like a robot!!! And I woke up today with a back ache which healed after I stood up and stretch a little. =)
Morning excercise was a little more fun this morning. I sent my parents off to IKEA using the card and then I bought breakfast for myself (subway) and mama (serembian pork pow). Mama wanted to go to the gym too so we went there and I signed in first before I did my morning jog. I ran 3km at 11km/h, I am just 1km/h away from my passing goal as I ran 2.4km in 13.15 minutes. I always wonder how my secondary netball friends could run 2.4km in 9 minutes and they don’t look like they are sprinting or anything. But I will get there eventually if I have the motivation to do so. Oh and I did 1 round of circuit training for upper body before jumping into the swimming pool to soak soak. Hahaa..and I splashed some water at mama too!^^
Alright I will try to upload some picture into this post but I will have to see how fast the bandwidth of the subway is.
Cheers,
Matthew

What to blog for today? Today shall be random dayk!

Alright. Randomness rule today. I have absolutely nothing to talk about, which is interesting! But I am sure that I would find something to talk as I progress.
Oh good news! Mama is coming with us in the car for the first trip to KL! In other words my aunt, the HOD one, will go with my other aunt on the Aeroline bus. hahaa..it was somewhat my plan but was orchestrated by mum and mama. Hahaaa..I just made them sound like schemers. No no no.. its just that my HOD aunt volunteered to take mama's place for the bus rides as she saw mama struggling when she had to walk for longer distance. HAhaaa..mama.. You should see how she walk like from side to side, like a chubbby young baby learning how to walk!!! Wooops..making fun of my grandma, but she is super cute!!
Hahaaa..just see how cute she is!^^

Another thing to note is that I will be leaving on thursday afternoon (tomorrow afternoon!) instead of friday. That would mean that I have to sleep for one extra night in my sleeping bag!:( But I would just regard it as free training for NS. haha^^ The reason for this change of plans is because my uncle (the owner of the condo apartment) would like us to help him shop for a bed at IKEA, KL. It seems that IKEA has this promotion whereby if you were to buy a furniture from IKEA before 3pm, the delivery will be done on the day of purchase. Once you miss the 3pm deadline, they will deliver in 3 days time whether you like it or not. Since, the company rule is so rigid, we have to travel up one day earlier so that we can go down to IKEA the following day at about 10am and make sure we choose the right furniture and purchase it before 3pm. What a pain in the neck! Haha, I feel like it is a one-to-one exchange thing, I let you stay at my brand new condo and then you help me buy my furniture to furnish my house. But I suppose it is a win-win situation for both parties, if that were really the case.^^ Alright alright..I am talking alot of crap now.

Am I happy to go to KL? Honestly, no. I am usually excited to go on holidays especially to KL where I do massive shopping. But with Pull and Bear, Zara and Topshop being in one shopping centre, Vivo, I dont really see the point of going to KL to do my shopping. What is there to buy? Hahaa..but I will find something to buy anyway.^^

So... After so many months of owning an Omnia, am I still happy with it or would I rather change to another phone? I am happy with it. You may ask me, "Why?". Well, let me do an analysis for you. Let me show you the way.^^

Omnia vs iPhone 3G - Omnia is very work organised (has Words, PPT, Excel mobile), has a 5 MP camera with face detection, has a optical trackpad, hot buttons for camera/task switcher which are variable, has a end call/call hardware button, being WM6.1 it has quite a bit of applications. iPhone 3G is play organised (no Words mobile and stuff), has a pathetic 2MP camera that is super grainy, only has 1 hardware button and thus cant multi-task like omnia, has tons of applications because all the software designers went running to Apple. So if you are cool person, want to get things done on the go but yet look trendy at the same time, please buy Omnia. But if you are super playful and there is nothing more than in your life than to play, please buy an iPhone. Thank you. ^^

Omnia vs HTC HD - Omnia has a 3.2 inch screen with 240 by 400 resolution, sharp 5MP camera with face detection and LED light, comes with a GPS software, nice pre-configured menu and layouts and smooth scrolling, has a task switcher hot button, responsive hardware buttons. HTC HD has a 3.8 inch screen with 480 X 800 resolution, grainy at first (have to tweak the camera settings manually) 5MP camera with no face detection/ LED light, doesnt come with GPS software, not nice pre-configured menu and layouts and non-responsive scrolling (have to download softwares in cab format to edit the sensitivity settings and the menu to make it look nice), no task switcher hot button, non-responsive touch pad buttons.

Omnia vs LG Prada - Omnia is the obvious winner as it has an OS (Operating System), WM6.1 whereas Prada has no OS. On top of that, Omnia has a 5 MP camera as compared to Prada's 2MP camera. The only thing that Prada trumps over Omnia is because it is Prada!

Omnia vs LG Renoir - Omnia has a 3.2 inch screen, 5 MP camera, has an optical trackpad, has an OS - WM6.1, uses a 1440 mAh battery. Renoir has a 3 inch screen, a whooping 8 MP camera, no optical trackpad (just some cheap-looking plastic hardware buttons), no OS, uses a 1000 mAh battery. So this is a difficult choice to make as, well if you love to take photos, you would definitely buy renoir but dont be surprised if your battery dies super fast while taking photos! But being a more balanced person, I take photos, work and play on my omnia, which renoir cant keep up. Hahaaa:)

Omnia vs Omnia HD - Alright this is it. The ultimate showdown. Omnia HD is Omnia big sister and thus, the only thing that Omnia will win is this. Omnia has an OS but Omnia HD has no OS. HAhahaaa!! But other than that Omnia will be eating the humble pie.

Omnia vs Google G1 - Omnia can take videos, has a 5MP camera, is light at 122 g, has a fast processor running at 624 MHz CPU, uses a 1440 mAh battery, is thin at 12.5mm. G1 cant take videos, has a 3.15 MP camera, is heavy at 158g (I cant imagine jogging with it in my pocket, my pants would have slid off by the time I finish jogging one round the track & field!^^hehe), has a slow processor running at 528 MHz CPU, uses a 1150 mAh battery and is thick at 17.1mm (even though the slider is sort of integrated into the phone).

Omnia vs Sony Xperia X1 - Well what can I say. Sony sucks. And so does X1. Don's friend owns it and says so too. The build quality is pathetic, the camera is such a sad case (3MP), it is extremely laggy. Hmm.. do I need to say more? This X1 is like all the Dopods and O2 phones out there, eating dust. ^^ wooops again..a little too harsh I guess but at least I am honest, maybe too honest for this review.

Hmm..indeed I found something to talk about in the end! Wow, that seems to be alot man! Alright I shall stop here then. The next time I blog, I will be 450km away from where I am sitting now.^^ -->Oh my uncle said that the wireless is up and running already at K Residence.

Wish me luck! ciao, Matthew.

Salonplus to the rescue.. :)

Thanks to the uber effective Salonplus, my chest muscles arent hurting anymore, after one application! But...thats right..but!!! When I first applied the sticky medicated thing, within 20 seconds, I was seen hopping around my house like a crazy old man. It was extremely hot on the part where I placed the plaster! And mum just look at me and say "oh its minty only", haha she must be immune to hotness to say that! hahaaaaa^^ (well she does put plasters when she injure herself too). I dont like hot weather and dont like very cold weather but if given the choice I would rather be in a cold country, so thank God I was born in Singapore man! Sometimes the weather is hot and sometimes it is cold, so just nice for me. :)
Oh and I was supposed to talk about this yesterday but it slipped my mind.
We are the world, we are the children.. oh crap, why on earth did I type that out?? Like so random suddenly!! Ok I will focus on blogging now.

I just tried the Starburst sweet that I bought for mama and it taste just as good as the 3-in-1 flavour Starburst sweet that I had bought previously. ^^ Yummy but sweets = carbohydrates = fats if I dont use up the carbohydrate by today! hahaaaa but its Starburst! I am going to eat it anyway. Hah!

Cheers a second time today,
Matthew

My holiday plans -- KL

As promised, I will go through my holiday plans (I always keep promise!^^). Okay. I will be going to KL on 2 separate occasions for 2 consecutive weeks.
For the first trip, I will be leaving on 20th March (Fri) and coming back on 22nd March (Sun). The first trip will be purely for holiday purpose. My dad will be driving his car (for the first time this Slyphy car will be travelling so far) and mum, Ee Ee (the HOD of English at HIHS) and me will be onboard. Mama was supposed to travel with us too but because Ai Ee (my other aunt) wanted to join us too so she asked Mama to join her to take Aeroline bus (https://www.aeroline.com.sg/) up to KL and back as our car cant take the weight of 6 adults in the car (well actually it can carry up to 1.2 tons hahahaaaaa)! Thank God as I would mostly like get all squashed up if I had to really go on a trip with 3 other adults in the rear!!!! Even though the current car is a lot more spacious than the previous Sunny car but still!?! But I do wish mama can go with us in the car with us instead.
As for the second trip, I will be leaving on 26th March (Thurs) and coming back on 30th March (Mon). The second trip will be mum and me only. She doesn't have a partner to go to this seminar by Curry Blake, some Divine Healing technician seminar so I have to go. I will just go and well, keep my options open. Yup thats about all for the second trip.
All this while for both the trips, I will be staying at this very nice but unfurnished condo that my uncle had bought. The condo is called K Residence (http://www.kresidence.com.my/). It seems that they have a gym and wireless which will be good if it is fully functional. Hahaa..due to the 2 separate trips, I will be missing my trainings and hence it would be good if I were to sort of catch up by training at the gym. And as for the wireless, I will still be able to blog!^^
I havent start packing yet as I am not at home yet and I am also a little lazy to start packing. hehe^^

Hey I took some picts of myself before I left for Vivo yesterday and well, after i had styled my hair!! And NO, I am not narcissistic!!!! Ok wait..

See!!! So good boy looking!

Oh and after 3 weeks of usage, this is how my once-new wallet looks like... It is my fav brand too! And I finally got it after some contemplation..

But its worth it! hahaa

Alright alright..I'll try not to spend too much next time and be more thrifty.^^ Haha

Review on Last Chance Harvey^^

Hahaa.. I was kidding. I am not capable of doing a movie review professionally but if you want my opinion about the movie, here it goes!
Ok firstly I watched it at cinema hall 8 at Vivocity GV. Hmmm.. Vivo again..brings back all the good memories I had over there. Cinema 8 is extremely small but very cosy! I was there with mum, aunt and mama. We were there to buy our ticket to KL and back at Aeroline, Habourfront Centre. I will explain in painstaking detail about my holiday plans as mum wants me to sleep early tonight, beauty sleep I guess. Hahaa..kidding again!
Ok back to the movie review, Last Chance Harvey is a love comedy. It is hilarious if you are capable of taking note of Harvey's and Kate's words and their corresponding reactions! So I really enjoyed the movie as I am able to feel the feelings of both Harvey and Kate and go with the flow of the movie without any problem whatsoever. I think I am quite familiar with the feeling of being unlucky in love hahaha^^. Nonetheless, I like the ending as they found courage and agreed to disagree to make their relationship last. Ahh.. It was a perfect non-fairytale, real life, ending! Love it!
Now, would I recommend you to watch it? Yes. I wouldn't mind watching it again I have to. 4 out of 5 stars again.
No youtube videos for today. I am not feeling exactly top of the world, super tired after the walking about vivo and see the seas of couples and gangster students and more people at vivo today. I really like malls that arent crowded so I try to avoid going to malls on weekends unless I need to get some stuff or run some errands.^^
Talk again tomorrow. :)

Cheers,
Matthew

A haircut at long last! ^^

At long last I was able to get my haircut. Well, I wouldn't say that I waited a long time to cut my hair or was looking forward to cut my hair, its just that it felt like that it was time to cut my hair.
I was supposed to get my hair cut done yesterday but it seemed that I had arrived 30 minutes too late. Hmm..ok today I seem to be a little disorganised in my narration so I will try to shape it up a little. It has got to be due to my muscle ache..haha..I will apply the super Salonplus later!!
Alright. I went to Century Square to have my hair cut at One Salon (Reds' younger brother). But to my utter surprise, it was replaced by Hair Inn, which refused to cut my hair because it was pass 8pm (8.30pm to be exact). I am still wondering what has happened to One Salon! But anyway, I went in search for another hair salon. The next stop? Icon. Once again, I was turned away by an apologetic hair stylist. Supercuts was even one step ahead of me as they were already closed. Storm was closed too.
Then I remembered that there was a Reds at Tampines Mall. I walked quickly over to see their shutters partially closed and Jean Yip was closed too. Grrrr... So irritating!! But as a consolation, I bought myself an Omnia pouch @ $18.90.^^ So nice looking but stinky PVC! I just can't wait for the smell to fade away. :) Hold a sec...

Tad--aa!!! My new pouch to protect my super gadget!^^ The photo was taken using mum's pinky F480!

So after that incident I was a little pissed off by their perculiar closing time at 8pm. The only reason why I was a loyal customer to Reds was that they were very accomodating the first time I had to cut my hair at Reds, PP (Parkway Parade). They were about to close at about 9pm but they took me in at slightly after 9pm and the hairstylist didnt rush through my haircut. In fact, she did an extremely good job of cutting off my white hair (I bleached-highlight my hair ash brown and the colour faded, so all that was left behind was white hair^^) and I walked away from the salon at 9.40pm, a very satisfied customer. This being that I went to several hair salons and not one hair stylist dared to cut off just the white hair on my head with the usual hair cut of course. All just merely commented that I had white hair and recommended me to highlight over it. It did not take a rocket scientist to figure out that all highlight involved the usage of bleach and thus, I would never in a million years highlight my hair again. Thank you.
However, my hairstylist just suddenly left Reds, which was so sad as she was like one of the best hair stylist that I had ever had even up to now!! :(

This morning I woke up and decided that I would try something new. Its more fun that way. I would go to a salon that I have never been into before and get my hair cut done there. It will be very risky as my hair doesnt grow overnight (duh!) if they screw up. But what the heck, lets try it out! Hence, I decided to try cutting at this new salon that I spotted opposite the Serangoon Stadium where I did my running last wednesday. It is called Hair Affair In The Inn. Guess what? The hair cut only cost me $14! hahaa.. Ok let me describe my experience there. I wasn't expecting much given the price. Nonetheless, I was in for a huge surprise! They gave me car magazines to read, water (because I refused to have tea) and I was sitted down nicely. At first, the stylist tried to speak in me in mandarin and I managed to tell her that I wanted a hair cut and a wash, as my hair was already waxed. I was laughing on the inside as she tried to cut my hair without washing off my wax first! But after like 10 minutes of trying to cut my hair, she gave up. Hahaa..she reminded me of Siew Huey when she said "cannot, cannot, must wash hair first" in mandarin, I was even laughing harder on the inside but my face looked solemn, I think!
I lost track of the number of times she soaped and rinsed my hair. She did attempt to massage my head but she wasm't strong enough but it was almost as relaxing as at Reds. So alright, enough of the services part, lets get to the results part.

Before and After picts!

So alright she did a good job thinning my hair and my hair length has been sort of reduced. Oh ya, the hair gel that they used to style my hair smelled like Singer oil!! So disgusting but mum said that it had a fragrant smell. Ah whatever la. All I know is that I rinsed it off the moment I reached home. ^^ I want to go and watch Matrix reloaded now so ciao!

The Fray - You Found Me

But before I go, this song really speaks volumes! Enjoy this song, it isnt usually my genre of songs but the words and tune seems to have got me swaying! So sway with me!

Blogspot flaw but anyway, lets talk abt my ReSults!!

haha.. I just noticed a flaw that blogspot has. Or maybe it only applies to my account! I hit the publish post button and then it stated that I had posted it at 12.50 am, when it is now 7pm!! So yup there it is, blogspot little flaw.

For this semester 2.2, I got 2Z, 2A, 1B+, 1B. PSLP and BFA (cds) were Z. UO2 and PCI were A. PIA was B. CSAS was B+. GPA = 3.85.
Thank you Jesus for my results! Even though, my gpa had dropped due to my PIA, I am still very thankful Lord! Just as importantly, I would like to thank all my sources of motivation too!! Before I started to study for my exams, in my heart, I felt that I would not be able to finish studying for the exams. But thank God, I made it through once more.

Grease-Frankie Valli- Bee Gees

Wooops I guess I am hooked to Bee Gees after my uncle asked me to get some songs for him^^

An uplifting and absolutely enlightening outing at Vivo!! :)

So alright, I was supposed to blog yesterday night but I was a little too tired to start up my laptop just to blog.^^ Afterall, it is easier for me to blog once I have reorganised the entire outing in my brain, starting from the point of arrival.
I woke up yesterday at 4.36am precisely, thinking that it was already 7am and wondering if my phone would go off like a crazy wake-up siren. The moment I saw that it was still 4 plus, I fell back onto the soft pillow to snore a little more (haha..do I snore? Not to sure myself^^). 7 am finally arrived and I sort of stayed awake until 7.30 to see if Mdm Sim would call me to work. Well, it wasn't the case for yesterday morning nor today! (so sad!!! haha) So I had a fitful sleep until about 9 plus before I woke up groggily to do my morning exercise.
Ah well, so the morning passed pretty quickly for once, while I did my full dress up procedure. Make-up and stuff (hahaaa..kidding!). Well it isn't much, just an extra of 5 min of drying my hair with the hair dryer and 10 min of styling my hair as my hairstylist have shown me before.
Weeeee... And off I went to Vivocity! My friends (CJ and Tong Hock this time ^^) were 10 minutes late but it was alright. Well, the overview of our entire outing was simple. We had lunch at Superdog, watched Coming Soon at the theaters and had dinner at this Kim Gary Hong Kong Restaurant.
However in minute detail, I had the Bratwurst hot dog thing that was supposed to be nice but wasn't exactly yummy..a little bland or perhaps the fatty streaky pork had masked the taste of the sausage. But I must say that their french fries tasted a lot better than the McDonalds ones, the former had a fuller potato taste or flavour. Right after the meal, we went looking for my omnia pouch but to no avail. Haahaaa.. I shall skip those parts that we went to the toilet because I lost track of the number of times that we went to pee pee!^^
Choosing the movie to watch was easy and we settled for Coming Soon. Lol..perhaps I might have regretted agreeing to watching that horror flick if I had known that it was directed by the same director who directed Shutter. We went to Page One (haha.. I can remember the name!!) to read the newest Guiness World record book. Time flies when we are together and before we knew it, it was time for us to watch our movie. The movie with all its sound effects, really scared the crap out of me at some parts of the movie. Hahaa...during the duration of the movie, I was literally jerking backwards into my seat!! A little embarassing but I guess I have a femine side in me.. ;( haha. Nonetheless, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars as it had a very tiny twist towards the end. I shant tell you what it is because it wont be fair to my heart. Humph! ^^

Before we had dinner, we were like walking about like security guards. We went to National Geograpy (who on earth will pay 25k for fish fossils - which look like the leftover fish bones that I had for dinner the day before?) - hahaaa.. no offence to those love fossils! Passed by the MAC exhibition that has got Hello Kitty all over the banners. I thought hello kitty was so yesterday? haha.
Soon enough we got hungry and walked around for sooo loooong before deciding to eat at Kim Gary.^^ Dinner at Kim Gary was pretty interesting as it was surprisingly affordably priced. I ordered beef Hong Kong fried rice as I needed to have protein for my muscles.^^ But it was quite oily and I felt like puking after I sort of gobble it down. hahaa well, I ordered this drink that I have never ordered in my life!! A longan aloe vera, so interestingly served that I had to capture on my omnia!

Longan Aloe Vera (Tada!)

By the time, I finished my drink, I was shivering like an old man. We hurriedly paid for the bill and went for a short walk around the wooden planks thingy (near Marche) to heat up. :) So like I said earlier, time really flies when we are together and soon we had to part ways, but at least, we are going to meet up soon (will let CJ have the honour of organising again) - heheeee. As a result, we walked around for awhile before we called at a day. :(

Well we did some shopping this time round. I got myself Salonplus (for my aching muscles^^), Starburst from Candy Empire for mama (but I am still going to eat some haha), 99% cocoa chocolate from Lindt and nail polish top n base coat from Sally Hansen for mum. Well, I managed to tempt them to buy sweets (or did I not? ^^). Hey, I found that a AX jeans only cost $235, I thought it would be something like a whooping $400 or something like that. :)

Check out this photos man! hahahaaa^^

Relief Teaching.. Sounds easy but you must deal with all the crap that they feel like giving you!!

Everytime I meet up with friends and relatives they would usually ask if I had worked before. My immediate response is " Yup, relief teacher". Then comes the usual and spontative reply, "Wa easy money ei". I look at them and then say "I wish". There is hardly a day that I can ever remember that I earned $65 just sitting in class, doing nothing.
Well let me paint the picture clearer for you all^^. I wake up at 6.30am just to get ready for work and hurry about my morning procedure with my eyes still drooping from sleepiness. After that I have to be at school by 8am to sign in. I get my relief timetable and the toilet passes (the only thing that gives me authorization)..haha pathetic hor? hahaa^^
I usually start work immediately at 8am and off I go to the class, praying hard that they will be an easy class. I have to face them, subdue them, and make them obey me within the 2 minutes that I enter the classroom. If I do not succeed, I can guarantee you that it will a hellish 1 hour of relief teaching for me. Not all the time I succeed, so now, can you imagine how hellish it can be at those times that I failed to subdue them?
Well perhaps we may be a little well paid that some of our friends but imagine the shame and guilt at not being able to do your job in handling the class in the manner specified by MOE? Thats the reason why I some times go home after work with my shoulders drooping. On some occasions my timetable is so packed that I only have 30 mins free for my lunch break.. Hmm.. How cool is that? And the 30 minutes is actually like 20 mins because I have to leave the previous class late and enter the next class early. Thats not all, I have to make sure that the students do the worksheets/assignments/projects/tests and hand them up at the end of the lesson. No if or buts. Finally, after a long day of almost non-stop 'teaching', I sign out at 2pm. Phew! One day gone, $65 in my pocket (well they dont credit it immediately, its usually on the 23rd or the 8th)^^
Hahaa...so all this endless rmbling of mine was because I meet this female snobbish bitch teacher. (sorry about my language^^) I was supposed to relief a Mr Gary who was on reservist. He is a D&T teacher and following SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), I took his class down for D&T at the workshop. The assistant wasn't there so I had to look for him and found him at the other workshop. So he got out of the workshop and the snob teacher appeared and started to stall him. She was making all the silly small talk (from far you would have thought she was trying to seduce the assistant, seriously!!) and all she asked for was some newspaper. I already didnt like her face but I thought I had better not judge a book by the cover, a little rule I made for myself. Hah! Todat that rule did not apply! She was a snob alright. So finally the assistant opened the door to the workshop. It was lesson as per normal I thought but again that was not the case. Halfway through the practical, the snob teacher reappaeared to return the newspaper. She is not the teacher of my class but she intervened for nothing. First she told the assistant that the drill chuck speed is too fast but the drill was already set to the lowest speed! She thought that she was a teacher and she will always be right. Then she turned to me and said, "Ei you relief teacher. You don't know anything is it? You never see all these students not holding the vice when they are doing the drilling? Huh? Anything wrong happen, you have to write report you know. I was too stunned to reply. It was the first time that I worked there that a teacher dared to talk to me that way, like I was some dumb idiot who just managed to get a job as a relief teaching. HAhaaa...I bet she doesnt know that my aunt is the HOD of english. hahahaaaa^^
But who cares about some small fly teacher whohas nothing better to do. Anyway, the assistant not to worry about that teacher as she is like that one. (A natural snob in my words^^)

Yea!! I am going out tomorrow to slack, watch movie and stuff. Bye bye.. I am going for a jog now^^

Ohhhhhhh.....it took me so looong to find this beautiful song^^ Enjoy!!

My first day of work ^^

At about 7 am in the morning, I was rudely awoken by my Omnia playing Get Back by Ludacris. It was Mdm Sim from Holy Innocent High School (HIHS). She needed me to be at HIHS by 8am. Done deal. I hauled my lazy bum out of bed and went about my usual morning procedure. Brush teeth, breakfast, do some business (you know what I mean..hehee), bathe and dress up. But this time in half the usual time that I would usually take, well I usually take 1 hour to get ready. Oh well now you know my little secret. hahaa^^
I was so sleepy that I wondered if I would be able to stay awake through my working hours. Thank God I did. The classes were rather well behaved except for 3 Charity. I didn't expect them to behave so when they did settle down, I was surprised! Well, it was at the expense of my voice, my throat was a little hoarse right after I yelled at them but it is much better now. No wait, I am fine already!
I saw Carmen again, she flashed her pretty smile at me and I smiled back. She is one of those few gals that I have grown tired of, those "tae tae" type of girls, hahaa maybe to the point of dislike! :) Wooops! heheeee..
Had lunch myself, so sad but it was alright!:) Sometimes in life, it isn't always the expensive stuff that are the best. I realised it again today when I had rice and ingredients opposite HIHS, it only cost me $2.60 but it was like the best rice and ingredient that I have tasted. The coffeeshops near my house used to be the best but sad to say, their standard has drop tremendously. Oh so I ordered rice (duh!), egg tofu, long beans and stir-fried chicken with dried chilli.
Having said that, the very first time that I realised that cheap things can be good too, was when I was at Hong Kong. We went to a shophouse that sold beef noodle and all things beef. I ordered noodle with thin slices of beef and the price tag? HK$10. That equates to approximately less than S$2. It was cheap and the best beef noodle I have ever tasted. Period. ^^

Hmm... I feel like a DJ now. Ok.......This is an old song but it makes me energised after a tiring day. I hope it does the same thing for you all too!

A grotesque sight to behold

It was life as per normal, with me going to church every sunday, followed by helping my grandma clean her house.
However, after dinner, I got to witness something that happens everyday of our lives. It was something that we would have seen everyday, if it weren't for the pampered lives that we all live in, I saw fishes die after being lured out of the water at Sheng Shiong supermarket (I think it is the correct spelling).
I looked into the eyes of the fishes and saw their desperate desire to live. Their breathing pace soon became slow and painful with their mouths opening and closing slowly and their gills moving correspondingly. They struggled with the little strength that they had left by threshing their tails wildly, in fervent hope that they would some how or other, end up in the water again.
Nevertheless, the grocery shoppers just went about their selection of fishes as though, the sight of the fishes thrashing, now weakly, was a sight that they beheld everyday. A china man attempted to pick up the struggling fishes and when he succeeded in doing so, I saw a little smirk at the corner of his mouth. I bet he was thinking that he got the best deal, fresh fish (or rather just dead fish) for only $2.50 per fish. I must admit I was unhappy at the sight of his smirk.
However, on second thoughts, I realised that I was no different from him or anyone of the grocery shoppers. Let me draw up a scenario. Lets say we just had a succulent meal of unagi eel at the best Japanese restaurant in town. The first thing that we would usually do is pat our now sightly rounder tummy and sigh a contented sigh, and then say, "Ooohhh.. The fish was fresh, soft but springy, and it was really well cooked". Oh well at least that is what I would say^^. Now, if the fish was stale, would we say the same thing? Of course not! Unless you are one of those perculiar few who love stale fish! >> No offense there:) Hehee..
So have I convinced you that we are no different from the china man?^^ Well I suppose, I just need to get used to the sight of fishes dying as that event or situation takes place everyday whether I like it or not. Hence, I will just have to live with it.
By the way, this was supposed to be yesterday's blog but was delayed due to my aching muscles and me watching The Matrix. ^^

On a lighter note, this is one of my favorite songs now.

An eventful night of cycling!

Fabulous. It was the only word that comes to my mind if I were to think about yesterday's night of cycling. I went cycling with my aunt and her/my colleagues (since I used to work at Holy Innocent High School) and we started off a little too slow for my liking but it was okay, very relaxing indeed. We cycled from the bicycle rental kiosk at East Coast Park to Changi (well almost there, we had to stop halfway alongside Changi Airport as they had switched off the cycling track lamps!).
So let me start from the beginning again:). We pedalled our way slowly and rather effortlessly for me (heheee) to Changi and I totally enjoyed the journey there. The birds and all the little insects were making their merry little sounds and, the night air was cool and surprisingly drier than usual. We passed by the Singapore Biathlon 2009 (the 1.5 km swimming and 10km running competition) finishing line and I was personally surprised to see the place fenced up with people watching guard. Blame it on my ignorance on marathon events! Anyway, we pedalled on, so afterwhile, I got tired of the monotony of cycling so slowly and pedalled rapidly. Before I knew it there was a bend in the track ahead. I desperately applied the brakes, the brakes shrieked and the bike shuddered and skidded, and rubber burnt off my tires, making the same sound that I would hear when a car loses traction and skids. I struggled for my balance and managed not to fall in the nick of time. Thank God!
After that closeshave, I was a little cautious and started to go back into the monotony of cycling with the group. I suppose the fun part of cycling wth them is that I get to enjoy the scenery that I was passing by and the occasional jokes from my colleagues and aunt. =) Eventually, we reached the point where we had to turn back (unless I wanted to cycle in the darkness), then came the fun part. Whenever I went cycling, I would always make it a point to race back to the bicycle kiosk to let adrenaline coarse through my veins. After letting my aunt know of my intentions, I sped off. For 3 minutes I pedalled my bike like how Lance Armstrong pedalled his. I whizzed by other cyclists and it was so exhilarating that I stopped breathing. I broke the one rule that my trainer gave me. Breathe! By the time I had realised my mistake, my muscle became tired and I had to slow down, to let my muscles recover again. Honestly, at some parts of the tracks where it was covered with jungle on the left and right, my heart was pounding rapidly after watching all the horror movies, so I hurriedly picked up my pedalling pace to get out of the 'jungle area' as quickly as possible. :)
As expected I reached back at the bicycle reantal kiosk 10 minutes before them, just in time to take a leak and sip down the whole bottle of cold 100 Plus drink that I had bought. Hahaa..again I broke my trainer rules. I am not supposed to drink so much of fluid after excercise but it was refreshing nonetheless! =)

Alright, have to get ready to go for my training which starts at 4pm.
I shall leave you with Disturbia by Rhianna.

Scary movies.. It makes me stronger!

Hahaaa.. Well, as my title goes, I feel a lot stronger after I have finished watching a scary movie. Perhaps it is because I have seen how the actors and actresses manage to conquer the baddie guys or mutated people or the living undead, choose your pick back there^^. Hence, I would not be afraid if I really were to see them in real life. :)
It is pure adrenaline rush especially when you pretend that you are in the shoes of the actor/actress, your heart skips a few beats when the mutated people suddenly appear out of nowhere or it can be just simply, hearing all the grunting sound made by the undead approaching the actor while he is running. The one thing that run through your mind would be "kill them before they get you" or "keep running" respectively. =)
On certain occasions, I would regard these watching of scary movies as training for my heart. Hahaa.. something like you know, when you are in a roller coaster and it is going down the steepest slope of the entire track and, you force your eyes open and dont scream? It felt like my heart was about to explode, when I first tried it at the Ocean Park, Hong Kong, so I screamed like a baby all the way down the track^^.
Ohh.. and the reason that I am writing all these stuff is because I was watching Quarantine yesterday night and I am going to finish watching it right after I publish this post. The one show that scared the crap out of me because Don told me that only the starting part was scary. Then all of a sudden, halfway through the movie, a mutated person ran at the actress (making all the usual zombie noise), which scared me like crazy! Reminded me of 30 Days Later and 30 Weeks Later!! Heheee.. Alright, I cant wait to get back to watching Quarantine!

Wait, wait.. Lets see.. Don gave me this youtube video website to watch yesterday so I am going to let you see it too! Hold a sec...

Tada!
Asian Horror - The Eye

But I would recommend that you watch it during the day!

Hmm.. the dawn of a new semester holiday 2.2

Oh well it is not exactly the dawn of my semester holiday as my hols started last thursday (26 Feb), right after my UO2 exam.
My friends and I headed out to Plaza Singapura, or PS for short, right after the UO2 exam. It turned out to be the most enjoyable outing I had ever had in my entire life, seriously speaking!! So in chronological order, we went to have lunch at Swensens, followed by Marley n Me and lastly dinner at Ichiban Sushi. Well, yup you guessed it, we went home after a short stroll after dinner. I really enjoyed myself and they enjoyed themselves too, so we decided to have another outing or more outings to be exact. So it is settled, that we will go out next thursday (12 March) to Vivo and we will meet there at 1pm. I cant wait to go out again! hehee^^
Ok lets back track a little, lunch at Swensens was okay but cold. Marley n Me was nice, I give it 4 out of 5 stars. After watching that happy, sad and hilarious show, it just increase my desire to have a dog when i get married, keeping my finger crossed that I am not allergic to furry animals as when I was younger!^^ Nearly, cried at the ending. Wooops! hahaaa.. Dinner at Ichiban Sushi was good but I was way to full to gobble down the salads and the orange! haha :)
Jie Jie (Hong Jie) gave me a website for HP promoter job application for the IT Show 2009 (12th-15th March) and they need 10-15 promoters. If I really get the job, I will have to shift the outing to wednesday (11 march)^^. Nevertheless, I dont think it will be possible for me to be able to get the job as the forum page had close to 240 views so the chances of me getting the job is pretty slim.

Haha. I downloaded all the songs that I wanted to download during the school term yesterday and I am enjoying all the songs. Currently, I am listening to "I Like It Rough" by Lady Gaga. Oh well I might as well add her video here. It seems like she has just joined my long list of favourite singers.

I Like It Rough - Lady GaGa [MUSIC VIDEO w/ lyrics]

Enjoy the video! I am busy enjoying my day so I just want to share my enjoyment with you! ^^

Cheers,
