Little Taiwan again ^^

I am at Little Taiwan again. Hahaaa. Having my dinner now and yes I am having snowy ice again but I am not eating the mango one, I am eating the strawberry one. Then I realised that the ice thing they used was the same flavour, the only thing that varies is the topping, be it chocolate, mango, passionfruit or original.
Ohh and I have had my hair cut. It is short but style-able and no, I wont post my latest picture here. My friends will be able to see my hair on monday. hahhaaa. But its looks okay I guess as I have cut my hair even shorter than that.

Hahhaaa^^

Good Friday n the next day, Saturday

Today is Good Friday and I got to admit something. I forgot all about it. This is so embarrassing as we, Christians believe that Christ died on the cross for all our sins, all the vulgarities, the lies and the cheating that we do, and was raised on the 3rd day, Easter Sunday. And you know something? It was proven by archaeologist that it was indeed true that Jesus did die on the cross. Okay I am not going into a Christian sermon but I am just saying what I know. Jesus died on Friday 2000+ years ago and was rose again on the 3rd day (Sunday). Period. I am sorry that I forgot this day, Lord. I really am.
As always, it rains on good Friday, but at the worst possible time, I would say! We just had lunch at a restaurant in Chinatown which was famous for its Black KL Hokkien Mee. I know I wasn’t supposed to eat prawn stuff but this is something that was not to be missed, it was mouth-watering. I remembered to take a picture of the food only after I was halfway into the meal but make the most of it please. J I must warn you, it is alot like nachos. It doesn’t look good but it sure does taste good! ^^ So here it goes! I warned you already! Hahahaaa^^ Umm..blogspot seems a little screwed up so all the photos are at the top.
Oh and the reason I was in Chinatown was that mama insisted on going there to buy all the household items as it was unreasonably cheap over there! Hahaaa.. A little oxymoron there.
Well, I was a little moody afterwards because I felt so alone in this place away from home. But watching Shinjuku Incident in which Jackie Chan acted. It was a pure action movie with Jackie Chan acting on the bad side but he wasn’t exactly bad. He had conscience too, he knew that what he did was bad and he wanted to undo his mistakes. If you are planning to watch this movie, please skip to the next paragraph, if not keep reading! ^^ The story line was good I would say as it has a little more conversations, backstabbing here and there and some blood. Hhahaa..please excuse my sadistic desire to see the bad guys die but Jackie should not die! And I must say that the ending was very good, the way Jackie drifted off to die in the underground canal. It makes the whole movie complete and sad, throw in a sad song and I would have cried like a baby! Jackie was the director of this movie and one of the actors as well and I think he did a brilliant job in both.
I did my gym session in the morning today and decided to take some pictures as this would be the last time that I would be coming up to K Residence for a long long time. It isn’t big but it is suffice. ^^
Ohh this was the ice cream that I took on Thursday at sushei tei where we had our lunch. I didn’t know that it was our favourite! We finally decided that it taste like hazelnut as it has both red bean paste and chocolate. Hahahaa
Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and I don’t think I will have the time to blog. I will be rushing back to Singapore and doing unpacking and getting ready for work the next day.
Okay, itinery for today.
Destination: Midvalley Megamall
Objective: Cut hair, slack and juice time.

Hahahaaa^^ I miss Singapore and I am kind of looking forward to start working too.
Cheers

Here I come again..

I lost my appetite today. I simply could not bring myself to put any food into my mouth and I dont no why. It was only much later than I felt like eating so I bought a chicken pow and nachos with hot cheese. You see the thing about nachos is that it doesnt look good but it sure does taste good! ^^
I went out with CJ and TH yesterday which was fun! Triple the fun as it was impromptu! hahhaa.. We went to Vivo to walk, talk, see hamsters, talk more, laugh, just being happy in 2 words. We watched Climbers High at Cinema Europa at GV was $10 but worth every cent. It was an experience but ohh the movie was such a bore. It was draggy with no proper story line. Well, it could be called Perseverance instead of climbers high.

I got to leave now. I will try to blog in KL.

hello testing 1, 2, 3. test, test hahaha^^

hhahahaaaa.. I am testing the blog. If you were observent enough, you would notice that all my blog entries had incorrect dates and time posted. Well done if you did notice!! Seriously!^^ Because I had been blogging and checking back for gramar error for all my blog entries, and I had just noticed the error. Having nothing to do just now, I decided to fiddle with the settings and lo and behold! The time setting was wrong all this while! It was set to GMT-5 when it should be GMT+8 -- Singapore time!

keeping my fingers crossed! well but it should be correct now.
Ok for the record, there is 2 blog entries today (tues). This one and the one below.^^ Just so that would be no confusion whatsoever.

Chheeerriiooooss again,
matthew^^

School is going to start again :(

I went back to school yesterday. Alright before I continue any further, from now on, my blog entries will be compressed with my emotions/feelings still intact.^^ So I went back to school to buy the safety boots, pay for the transport and listen to some briefing for the CPTC. So crap la. I have to be in the shift 1 which is so early in the morning, 6.15am board the bus or something. :(
Anyway, right after that we (my whole group) went to have lunch at Macs and I had Big Mac again. hahaaha. Later on, only me, CJ and TH were left so they suggested Kallang Leisure Park but I couldnt ice-skate so mum didnt like the idea, so change of plans, we went to PS instead. AHhhh..but this time, without some person around, the outing was so much more enjoyable! It was relaxing though a little saddening. This outing would be one of our last until about 5 to 6 months time. Darn! We went to watch The Confession of a Shopaholic. Man, that was a nice show! I really liked it because it let me see into the future of what I initally planned to be. I wanted to work and be a shopaholic. Well, what I did not anticipate in my still growning mind was that I might rake up debts in the process of being a shopaholic. I wanted to experience the high life but with everything comes consequences right? Ok I admit. I love suits. Prada, CK, Giorgio Armani, YSL, etc. But I was a little shaken up by the movie. Clothes do not define me. I define them. A $1000 clothes is no different from a $150 clothes except that the word print size for the $1000 clothes might be a lot smaller than the $150 one. MAybe something like 5% Cashmere and 95% Cotton. Hahahaa^^ Ya so after the movie, we went to have dinner at Swensen. The food was much better this time as the last time I ordered some fish samble thing, this time was chicken cutlet menusiere? hahahaa..aiya..it is in some language which just sounds like 'menu'. :) And we had Topless 5 (Cookies n Creme, Choc Mint, Butterscotch, Lime Sorbet and Chocolate Malt - haha..I still remember!! Not bad..not bad..) after the food and couldnt finish so we left it to melt, it looked like some artistic impression which looked a little grosteque after our meal. :) Then we walked around after dinner and went to look at hamsters!! Super cute animals. I long to hold a small one and maybe try squeezing the fatty ones until their eyes are about to bulge. hahaa^^ and then tickle their chest endlessly when they are trying to sleep upside down. We saw the Samsung Ultra Touch. It sucks and cant even lick up to omnia. Samsung seems to be in a habit of making subpar handphones though I must say that Ultra Touch is a lot better than the LG Secret, the carbon-fibre semi-touchscreen phone. Shortly afterwards, we decided to call it a day. A wonderful day indeed.
Ok, I will stop here. BUt a little music to keep the vibes going ok? Cheers! This song was played during yesterday's movie's credit part.
Stuck With Each Other --> Confessions of a Shopaholic

Aww man.. It is beautiful right? MMMmmhhmmm..enjoy it!

Training today. Looking forward to becoming stronger today!

HAhaa... It is extremely rare for me to feel excited about going training. But that is exactly how I am feeling now. I looked at the reflection of me in the mirror today and realised with a little sadness that well, I am not big enough. A little thin except for some bouncy fats on my tummy but hidden under that layer of blubber is my 8 packs. Hahahaaa..serious la. I hardened my tummy today and ran my hand up and down to feel the plateaus and mini valleys. heheeee^^ Stronger>>Faster>>Better. Being strong makes me feel more confident, more invincible.
hahaa..alright alright.. enough of fitness stuff.

Hmm..yesterday, I went grocery shopping at NTUC - Festival Mall, I wasnt exactly pleased to do so but again, its educational. Anything that makes me smarter, I am on it man! hahaaa. Mama insisted on pushing the trolley, haha she looks so cute when pushing the trolley that I had to snap but I got the angle a little off and my hand shook abit too fast when snapping.^^ Anyway.. here it is. :)

Oh you know what, I chose a packet of strawberries yesterday! And they all tasted sweet and look pretty good except for one. See? I am good! I learn everyday. Thats makes life so fulfilling and of course, it is ThE most fulfilling when I succeed!! ^^ Yay!!!
Okay, lets see, back to the present. I was caught in a heavy downpour on my way back from buying lunch and the worst part? I was wearing leather-type slippers that I cant run in so you can imagine me jogging as fast as I can in that slippery slippers and trying to prevent the food from getting wet at the same time. hahaa..what a silly sight to behold!
Ok I got to go for training now. Need to change, pee and leave my house by 3.30pm.^^

Music for today. What if today was the last day? haha
If Today Was Your Last Day by Nickelback

Cheers and muah!

Title

HAhaaa.. I just couldnt think of a title today. Or rather I refused to put in any effort to think. I will let my this post just remain as "Title". Hahaa
I had a long lunch break today and had some quiet time to think things over, which felt good. It is almost like clarifying your doubts of that sort. At the same time watch the world pass you by. Hahaa..I sound so aloof right? hahaa. It is a nice feeling if you allow yourself to indulge in it once awhile. But dont do it too often. You will lose all your friends. Seriously. They will think that you have gone crazy! I saw some student from HIHS, wait..wait.. 'some' is an understatement! hhahaa. I define aloofness as when I can look right pass a person, it is like I cause my eyes to loose focus and then my mind to go into super fast motion or super slow motion. Trust me, it feels gooooood.
Ohh lets talk about my cycling trip yesterday. I cycled all the way from east coast park to the start of changi beach. I know you wont believe I cycled to the start of changi beach. Alright. Show you my evidence.

Next goal? Changi Village.

Work today n KL photo blogging time! >> UpDated version with full narations hahaha

I went to work today and I am elated to work back some of the money that I had spent!!^^ Guilty conscience I believe:) hahahaaa.. But like I said many blogs earlier, it feels good spending the money that you earned. Oh crap. I just gobbled down half of a packet of keropok! Now I must work harder on saturday. :(
Mum just asked if I want to go KL again. NOoooooooo... If I go one more time, I will HaTE KL. I am always in KLCC or Midvalley walking around and around until I know the entire layout almost inside out. Something like that. ^^ I hope it doesnt materialise.
So back to my work today again. hahaha. It was a little mundane, repetitive except that today I had to invigilate a D&T test and yes, it was at the D&T Room but thankfully I did not see the irritating teacher! I just detest her face, her character and her guts. And dont bother to try to persuade me to be friends with her. I never will. Okay I feel like dramatizing my feelings towards her a little bit more. Ever watch those Chinese serials whereby the evil matriach of the family will bully a poor little member of the family (a daughter-in-law, for example) and then one day the matriach choke on fishball or something and then we (the people watching) go like, "Die, you evil woman!". That teacher is the matriach. I am not the daughter-in-law though, hahahhaaa. Oh crap, I sound so sadistic now. But of course, I dont wish the teacher dies! I am not that evil!!
Other than that today is good. Very good indeed. I shall be going cycling later, at about 5pm like that, I think. hahhaaa..cycle off some flabby flabs!
Ok picture time. Here it goes!

Juice mixture. Strawberry, Banana, Milk, SoY Milk, Low fat vanilla ice cream = Protein drink? haha..anyway just swallow it! And then I realised that there was condensation on the straw! thought it was interesting so snap snap and then it appeared here. hahaha

Interesting carpark i thought. You have to walk up in a circular manner to go up to where your car is parked, its like when a car goes up the carpark levels at PS.

ohh this should have been above..ah cant be bothered to make it perfect today. haha. This was the meal provided on Aeroline right after we passed the Johor causeway on the trip to KL.

I was having my lunch (above pict) when I saw the bridge. But the omnia camera was a bit slow to activate as the side view of the bridge was pretty magnificent.

On the bus. ^^ TV directly ahead of me. Thankfully we had a cautious driver who did not break hard suddenly. If not I will end up like a rocket missile, propelled forward by the law of inertia. Then it will be bye bye Matthew. hahahhaaaa

I was at the seminar which was held somewhere in what I would call as the "Little India" of KL. The boy in grey shirt is a little retarded and was skinny to the bones. He was grabbing his grandma's arm and asking for more food. It seems like that they are sharing the same packet of food. At that point in time, I suddenly felt a wave of guilt. Here I am, wanting to spend money on clothes and juice mixes and all the expensive food, and there are many people out there in the world like this grandma and the poor boy, just having sufficent money to share a packet of food. Could I help them? I couldnt. I didnt know how to. Giving them money may be an insult to them. Buying them food will only make them full for a day. What about tomorrow? What about the people in Africa? What about them? Even as I blog now, someone in the world, whom I will never get a chance to meet, just died of hunger. Why? Because the charity organisations are ineffective. G20 doesnt work. The rich people would rather buy a Lamboghini, a Ferrari, a Maserati, a Bentley, a Rolls Royce, a Porsche then to donate a portion of their wealth to the poor. So should just donate money to the poor? No. They must create jobs for them.
Rmb this cliche but very down-to-earth and useful statement. Give them a fish and they will survive for today. Teach them how to fish and they will survive a lifetime.
Then comes the greatest challenge of all. How and where do we start that process of making Africa stand on its feet again? How to make the really poor people find a permanent job so that they can make ends meet? Thats the questions that resurface every now and then when I see people hungry on the streets, people begging on the streets, people playing music along orchard to earn a living. And I never have found a solution to those questions. Maybe I would one day. Maybe that was my calling. Maybe, I will be the bridge to make the connections. But also maybe, I am talking far too many things, that I would say at this current feeling that I am in. I feel humbled, even a little humilated now. Embarrassed.

This is Isetan on Earth Hour. 8 to 9pm. Most of the shops in KLCC had turned off their non-essential lights. Except for....Guess now!!!!
.......
dont peep!! ^^
.......
Alright. Except for the brands that I cant afford. Burberry, Giorgio Armani, LV, Coach, Jimmy Choos, that kind la. Got the idea? They are too darn rich/proud to bother about the earth. Not that I care so that much about the earth. But I would still turn off some extra lights in my house (if I were at home). ^^

Hahahaaa^^ Mama choosing her food at Little Taiwan and my uncle (who cook good food like porridge and chicken with the lemon grass - Yummy!) too. hahaaaaa funny pict. I like this pict as my uncle was saying something funny so I took the photo!

Ohh I wake up to see this almost every morning. Breathtaking right? ^^ I can see Genting lights at night from this glass wall window!

Who said that it always have to be a bouquet of flowers?? hahahaaa.
I took this pict in KLCC near Cold Storage, the fresh food people.

Dinner on the way back to Singapore. It is totally disgusting but for some reason, it tasted alot better than the lunch I had on sunday.

LAdies and Gentlemen. Welcome to Singapore. We will be arriving at Harbourfront in 15 minutes time. We hope that you have had a pleasant journey with us.
Hahaaa...YUp thats what the captain said. Pleasant journey? Definitely. I watched Bruce Almighty again on the bus and was laughing at Bruce's antics. After Bruce Almighty was, Pirates of the Carribean : Dead's Men Chest. Equally funny was Johnny Depp. First time I stayed awake on the entire journey!

Cheers,
Matthew

I killed a lizard!! And NO its not April's Fool Day! :(

I killed a lizard. And its not the proudest thing to admit either. I kind of like the feeling of lizards, they feel cold but alive at the same time. Weird right? Hahaa.. But if it was a cockroach, I would have killed the entire colony without feeling a thing. I hate cockroaches, hate them even more when they freak me out in the toiletwhen I am bathing (in my birthday suit with no protection! - ei censored ah!!) and they crawl over my feet. I would shriek like a small girl and then whack them silly!
The lizard was unique as all human beings are, with some kind of pinestrip design on its back and the tail was severed off, leaving a bloody stub behind. Its front legs was crippled and it was struggling to breathe and move. I ended his misery. I felt that it was the best for him but I now regret doing that. Who am I, to decide whether he/she lives or die? It could have gone home to see his love ones, one more time before they watch him die. Lizards have feelings too right? [maybe=(] Sorry but I hope are you in a better place now, little lizard!
Hmmmm..ok I am still a little affected by the killing of the lizard.
So okay lets proceed if not I will keep on ranting about that poor lizard! I went to the wet market with mama and mum. Honestly, truthfully and frankly, I really detest going to the market as it is always wet (duh! haha), hot and everybody that brush you is sticky and sweaty! Yuck! Hahaa. But I would try to look on the bright side and think of it as an educational trip everytime I go there. Mama, as usual, was extremely delighted when she arrived at the market. She loves doing grocery alot! Hahaaa..try to conjure up a picture of my chubby grandma happily wobbling her way around the market. And you wouldnt mind going with her and carrying groceries for her! She taught me how to choose french beans and mum taught me how to choose dou miao. =) Yay! I learnt new things!!! ^^ hahahaaaa
My muscles are acting up again. So crap lei! It must be that I keep excercising when my muscles are almost fully recovered. Haiya haiya.. Muscles muscles muscles:) In the process of muscle enlargement, as my trainer keep saying, "No pain, no gain". Anyway, I will be fine soon.

So back to my title. Happy April's Fool Day everybody! Muzzic please.. haha

Declaration by David Cook

This song is by David Cook, last year's American Idol winner, and apparently this is his newest song and it seems quite good. Nonetheless, enjoy this song if you may.
